hi guys! it's 4am and i'm currently a bit woozy from being sick but for some reason i was like "man i wanna post a lil update" so yeah here we are heeheh

so! i've been pretty sporadic on posting for the past few months still, and i'm sorry i haven't been the most active! life and stuff, y'know. work kinda makes me burnt out lately which has been making it kinda hard to work on stuff, which sucks bc i have a buncha projects half started both in my brain and also out on paper... lots of unfinished art and such. motivation is hard!!!

also i currently have covid, so that's fun. i'm mostly okay, my symptoms were mostly mild besides the few days i had a fever. i'm hoping i get over it before i'm scheduled to go back to work, partially for obvious reasons but also because i'd like to have at least one day in between where i'm not SICK before i go back. maybe if i get that, i can finally work on or maybe even FINISH one of the pieces i've been wanting to share! i really wanna get back in the groove. i miss making stuff and interacting with you guys more frequently!!

in other news, i finally have a laptop! so it'll be a LOT easier to submit things, work on voice acting, etc! i'm hoping to get back into the groove of things soon because i would LOVE to try and collaborate on some projects sometime again. i keep thinking about the project blind date and how much fun i had with what small parts i was able to contribute, even though i already had a lot of life stuff on my plate at that time as well. it kinda seems like i'm always goin through stuff lol. its rough out here in gloom-land. but i'm hoping things get better soon!

SOOOO!! As you all know the Newgrounds Winter Fest was last weekend, and I just wanted to spew some thoughts about how it went here !!

Overall, I had a wonderful time and I was once again reminded why I love this community so much! The panels were spectacular and I feel like I learned so much from fellow creators <3 I was so motivated and inspired. I didn’t wanna miss any of the fest, so I actually listened to most of it while working on building cosplay stuff!!

It was wonderful to reconnect with the community after being in and out due to things like moving and job searching and crippling anxiety lol oof. Talking to my mutuals and friends more during the fest actually made me feel so much better, and I thank all of you for that.

I also have everyone involved with the fest to thank for helping build and fuel my confidence. As many of you know, I struggle a lot with shyness and have a lot of problems with putting myself out there, collaborating, sharing some of my art, and talking in vc’s and such. But having the opportunity to make people laugh in the hentai dubbing panel, even though it was really silly, it actually made me feel a lot better about talking to others and it helped with my confidence a bit. And of course, being able to share my thoughts during the closing ceremony helped as well. Even having Stanpai and many others encourage me to share my art during the nsfw art discussion helped me a lot with my confidence. It all sounds like silly little things, but they really did help and I’m so grateful hehe

This entire thing turned into word vomit, but I’ll end it here as you kinda get the jist. Many thanks to Stanpai and LilSpook for organizing another BANGER festival, as well as the rest of their staff, panelists, and all of my wonderful friends and mutuals who encourage me and meme with me <3 y’all know who you are hehehe I love u all!

Hello everyone !! I just wanted to make a small update. My move went well, and I’m starting to settle into my new home ! I have a job interview lined up and some other applications out. Im hoping to save up for a computer of some sort so that I can use the drawing tablet my little sibling gave me!!

Im also super excited to attend the NG Winter Fest! I know it’s gonna be banger <3

I’m also attending Ohayocon in a month so I get to prepare for that as well. Hopefully things will be looking up in my Gloomy little life pretty soon <3

Hey guys! You may have noticed I haven’t been posting as much, and I figured I’d give a small update on what’s goin on haha. I’ve got a job that currently takes up most of my time, and I’m still trying to balance that with doing art and posting and such. Im also currently working on finding a place to move, so that’s taking up a lot of mental capacity and time as well. Im not taking an official hiatus as of now, I’m just kinda gonna be posting whenever I can ! Hopefully I’ll have some more content for you guys soon though <3

The Newgrounds Summer Fest 2021 has been absolutely amazing !! I was so hesitant to sign up but I’m so happy I did because I received so much advice, constructive criticism, praise, and memes! All of which I needed. I am so motivated and inspired.

I also made such an amazing cast of friends and allies (hi guys we’re all following each other now!) who I am looking forward to moving forward with in growth and collaboration!

Im so so happy I attended this online event and joined this server. Overall one of my favorite cons I’ve attended thus far. The organizers and panelists did amazingly, and the sense of community was so inspiring. Thank everyone who was involved in this event ! Be expecting more work from me soon, because like I said, I’m so motivated and inspired! Hopefully there are more events like this in the future <3
